Piggy Tails!

Ok, so I might have tried to do the girl's first piggy tails too soon, but I couldn't help it! As soon as I could grab enough hair I had to throw it in piggy tails and then for hours after I was still smiling at the cuteness. Maybe I'm the only one, but LOOK HOW CUTE!!!
I think I'll wait another month or so before trying it again, but I'm sure I just won't be able to help myself from snagging a few more pictures of my cuties in piggy tails!!!

11 months

My girls are getting so big, I just can't believe the time has gone by so fast. They are growing up before my eyes! I have been so blessed to have these cute little babies in my life and I have tried to enjoy every monment with them that I can. I have tried to forget the dishes in the sink and sit down with them and read a book. I have turned my back on the sweeping and instead crawled around the living on the floor with them. I have tried to keep my blogging up so I can look back at what an adventure this first year has been. I could have been better, but just like the dishes, sometimes it has been more important or me to love on and be with my babies, then it has been to write about them.

Although the time has gone by too fast I feel as though I have done my best to enjoy my babies. I hate that they are already growing out of the baby stage and are moving to the toddler years, but I am so excited to enter these next couple of years with my sweet girls.

I love you Pepper.
I love you Izzy.
You make me the happiest mommy ever.

My first Mother's Day

Me, Pepper, and Izzy
Well, I had my first Mother's day as a mom. I think it is not until you are a mom that you truly understand all that your mom went/goes through for you and why we have this wonderful day to thank our moms for what they do. Thank you mom for being a great mother to me and I hope your mother's day was as good as mine.

Just like most, my family made me breakfast in bed. I love that they made me just what I wanted. A large glass of diet coke. Yum!

For church I dressed the girls in my favortive outfits with their matching hats. I love these dresses. They look s cute in them. I even told someone at church that half the reason I go is to show off my cute girls and all their pretty clothes. Oh well, when they look this cute, who can blame you.

As always, the girls find their way to Grandpa. They love sitting with him during church and although I always miss them when they crawl away it is nice to have family in our ward so every once in a while I can take a breather.

Here is Pepper giving me an over the shoulder pose.

And the presents I got from the girls. They were so nice, they got them for me early so I could set everything up on them. Dad made sure to pull them back out though and put bows on them. Silly Daddy!

Hope your Mother's Day was great too!
