Easter 2012

 Happy Easter everyone!
(I know I'm behind, but I'm trying to catch up)

Don't they look so cute?
I love Easter Sunday. I love going to church and hearing about Jesus and all he has done for us. It is always wonderful to be reminded how much he loves me and what he went through for me. I love him and Easter is such a great time to remember and thank him. I love spending time with family and enjoying one another. I am so blessed to have family all around me. It has been the biggest blessing in my life. And of course, I love new Easter clothes! It is such fun for me, and this year was the first year I was able to spoil my cuties.
Cory gave me the hardest time about going out and getting them new Easter dresses. He thought that they had enough clothes and dresses. (which they do) But I still wanted to get them something special to wear Easter Morning. They are so cute!
(I was right to go out and buy more clothes that they didn't need. Just don't tell Cory.)

Aunt Kacee came by and brought us Easter baskets for the girls. They had clothes (which they loved), stuffed animals (which they snuggled), candy (which mom and dad ate), and confetti eggs!
Pepper ate them!
And they were a little messy,
in more ways then one,
But, oh, so much fun!
Don't you just love Easter?
Thanks for the mess Aunt Kacee! We love you and all our family that we were able to see this Easter. Happy Easter everyone!

9 Months!

I hate how the time goes by so fast and that they are already 9 months old. Everyone says that they grow up so fast and it is true. Why do they have to grow up?
Nine months!
Wow, this has been my favorite month so far. They have been so much fun and they are really starting to become their own little persons. It is so neat to watch them play and discover things. They love to look at books and now every night before we go to bed I get out two to three books and read to them (while they are in their beds and I'm in a chair, they will take the books out of my hands if I sit them on my lap). They start bouncing up and down in their cribs when I pull the books out because they are just so excited to read.
They have also gotten really good at pulling themselves up on things and then sitting back down. There for awhile they would pull themselves up and not know how to fall back down so they would just stand there and scream until mom or dad could help them back down, but now they are doing much better and so they are off. They explore the house everywhere and find something new for mommy to baby proof everyday.
Pepper is as independent as they come and when you pick her up to hold her she will turn away and push away from you so she can see everything. If you get a hug from her you are lucky because she does not give them out very often. She is however so much fun and loves to play with others or by herself. She will snuggle(squeeze as tight as she can) her dolls and stuffed animals, and loves to take everything I just put into the box back out!

Izzy is our snuggle bug so when ever I need to love on a baby she is happy to let me snuggle with her. She also will shake her toys up and down, so she loves rattles and things that make noise when you shake them. She does this thing when she is hooked into something (her car seat, jumper, stroller, highchair, or exerciser) She will flex! And not talking like a cute flex your arms for me and show me your muscles. I mean she will flex every muscle in her little body. The girl is ripped! She will sit there and kick-flex, and kick-flex, and kick-flex. I'll have to get a video of it because I've  never seen a baby do it before.  It is crazy to watch.

Oh, my crazy girls. You sure do make life so much more fun! Happy 9months!

Random Picture time

It's RANDOM PICTURE TIME! I love taking random pictures of the girls. It is always funny when I look back on them and remember why I just had to grab the camera and take a picture really quick. I also find myself putting them down for a nap or bed and then spending hours going over my pictures of the girls. I guess it is a mom thing . . . anyway, here are some random picture of my girlies!

This one was quick shot for daddy. He sent me a text one day while he was at work and said that he missed his girls, so I grabbed my phone turn to the girls and said "Boo" and this is what I got. I sent it to Cory and told him that we missed him too and thanked him for going to work so mommy could stay and take care of our babies. Love you, daddy!

This one makes me laugh. I could not get a picture with Pepper's feet still! When I put her in this chair she went wild. Kicking and laughing, oh my! See, this chair was made for me by my Grandpa Palmer (on my dad's side). He gave it to me when I was one year old, and I have used it and loved every year of my life after. It is one of maybe five things I own that I hold dear to my heart. It has been used and beat up pretty good and that is part of its charm, but as you see, it still makes babies smile and laugh. Love you, and miss Grandpa!

Costco! Costco has turned into my favorite place to go shopping. Not because of the deals, or the yummy food court (which I do love), or the free samples, but because of the double baby seats on their carts! Love them! This has made my life so much easier. I can just throw them in the cart and go. No worry about where to put the other baby, or if I should push a stroller and pull the cart. No asking for help from my sister to go shopping. Just go! Yeah! Plus, they look so cute.

 Where are you going Pepper?
So, we have these two chairs in our family room that when pushed together they create this prefect little tunnel. The girls learned that instead of going around the chairs they can just crawl right through. It can be pretty funny when you are sitting in the chair and then you look down and there is a baby's head.

I don't even remember why I took this picture but I love, love, love the look on Izzy's face. "What!?!?!?"

Good morning! I think a plus side of having twins is in the morning they have someone to wake up with and play with until mommy is done with her shower and getting ready. When ever I come in to get them out of bed in the morning this is what I get! Happy babies! Love them!

This was another text to Daddy. He asked me what we were doing. This is what I sent him. Izzy you have the cutest little smiles!

Snack time. Daddy took this picture one time while I was making lunch, or dinner I can't remember. Anyway, he was feeding them a snack and trying to get them to smile. At least Pepper was willing to smile for him.

Ok, so sometimes it takes them a few trys before they get the bottle in their mouths. Don't judge.

Hope you all enjoyed the pictures.
We will do it again sometime.

8 months

Wow they are 8 months and I am two months behind so I don't even remember that far. That's sad! I know that at this time they are finally learning to crawl and they are starting to get into everything. Although this means that I know have to baby prof the whole house I am so grateful that they are now crawling. They are so much more happy that they can get around and so they are different babies. Happy all the time! Which makes for a happy Mommy!

Pepper. Yes, she did crawl first and I'm sure she will hold that over her sisters head for the rest of her life. Oh, well! I'm sure Izzy will have a good come back.
Izzy. She is so funny! She does this thing now where she sits in place and bounces up and down when she is happy. It is really cute to watch.
8 months, and loving it!
